THOREAU is a unique spirit based on Costa Rican and V.S.O.P. Cognac. We created it as a tribute to Henry David Thoreau, a 19th century American philosopher, poet, and naturalist and the father of Civil Disobedience. His work encouraged us to exercise our freedom and innovate to achieve organoleptic excellence. Such an exceptional product deserved a stunning design: the elegant carafe is boldly emblazoned with a bright fluorescent orange and green label that has a stridently contemporary style. The tribute to the philosopher continues on the neck labels, where one of the fourteen quotes by the author is featured.
